Eggnog is often used and eaten at special holidays such as thanksgiving; however, eggnog is available throughout the year but not all the time and can be eaten anytime. Eggnog provide good nutrients of calcium, protein, various vitamins including vitamins C and Vitamins A. Obviously, eggnog is made from eggs and therefore, I think they contain and provide healthy nutrients which are also provided in eggs. It may sound not so delicious to many people I’m guessing but I heard that there are raw eggnog, made with raw eggs. From what I have heard, raw eggnog might provide more nutrients including various enzymes, etc. that might not be available through regular eggnog. And of course, eggnog can be simply cooked or used as a drink, or I heard there are more various ways to include eggnog in cooking. Some examples might include making breads, cookies, even ice cream, etc. I’m sure that there are many more. Some people might not like the taste of eggnog and so I think using eggnog as ingredients is still a great idea because you’re still likely to get nutrients from the eggnog. And you can always make your own eggnog right at home with customized recipe and with healthy ingredients.
